The challenge – managing multiple EDI flows
Before partnering with Golden EDI, Markslöjd was using multiple EDI systems to handle automated orders from different customers.

When Markslöjd upgraded their business system from NAV to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) in 2022, it was clear that their EDI processes also needed an update. Their BC partner, Fellowmind, recommended Golden EDI, and set up a meeting.

“There were some challenges along the way, however, Golden EDI’s team worked closely with us to navigate these issues. They were always available, and the communication was crystal clear. If something needed double-checking, they did it, and that gave us a lot of confidence in the process," explains Cecilia Lindblad.

The biggest impact of Golden EDI’s solution has been the clarity and control it has given Markslöjd. "The solution has made everything easy to understand. I can identify where errors are occurring and how to fix them. This allows me to help our customers more effectively.” – Cecilia Lindblad.
The flexibility of the system has also been a game-changer.
“Now, I can resend documents, monitor what’s been sent, and customize profiles more easily. We have much more control and it’s easier to manage. This has significantly reduced the time spent on troubleshooting and has allowed us to handle issues quickly, without interfering with the customer experience.” – Cecilia Lindblad.

The support from Golden EDI has been a major factor in the success of the project. “Whenever we needed help, they were there. What really stands out is how they treat their customers. They take our needs seriously and explain everything in a way that’s easy to understand. It’s not just about the technical solution; it’s about the entire customer experience,” says Cecilia Lindblad.
Cecilia praises the team for their approach – “The team has been amazing. You can tell they’re experts in their field, but more importantly, they know how to communicate. That’s been a huge factor in our success with this project.”
Future collaboration
With the integration complete, Markslöjd is now running smoothly with their EDI processes. "We’re in a good place right now, but there’s always more to do. We’re regularly onboarding new customers who need EDI connections, and we know Golden EDI will be there to support us.” – Cecilia Lindblad.
