Transforming Beauty Operations with Golden EDI
IsaDora, a Malmö-based beauty brand with over 40 years of history, initiated a major IT transformation to modernize their operations and meet growing customer demands. By implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) and integrating with Golden EDI, IsaDora successfully improved their ways of working and are now future proofed with their new solutions in place.
Background and challenge
IsaDora faced several critical challenges when initiating their digitalization journey. They had outdated, disconnected IT systems and were unable to keep up with the customer and retailer demands, such as increasingly complex EDI requirements, or support scalable growth. This made it difficult to respond quickly to business needs.
As a result of an organizational change, they also needed to centralize operations and modernize their logistics.

Golden EDI’s role in IsaDora’s digital transformation
Seamless connections were vital to support their shift to a modern ERP. When IsaDora replaced their old ERP system with BC, they integrated all EDI connections and later also their warehouse management system (WMS), Ongoing, with Golden EDI.
When IsaDora closed its German and Swiss subsidiaries, centralized production in Sweden, and outsourced warehousing to a 3PL provider, Golden EDI was there to ease the transition with efficient EDI integrations.
With more than 10 active EDI partners, including Amazon in Germany and Sweden, Golden EDI simplified complex integrations for order processing, import/export, and sales reports.

IsaDora identifies some of the outcomes from the collaboration with Golden EDI.
The new IT platform enables IsaDora to integrate new partners and scale projects faster and they can now confidently meet customer demands and offer faster solutions.
They have optimized their supply chain through outsourcing and integrating to a 3PL.
All in all, they now have modern, connected IT systems instead of outdated, inefficient setups.
