About Ebeco
Ebeco is a family-owned company based in Gothenburg, Sweden. They have been working with heating solutions since the 1970s and specialize in floor heating, frost protection, snow melting, concrete curing and other industrial heating products.
Collaborating closely with partners for product development, Ebeco has subsidiaries in Denmark and Finland, with their products distributed through electrical wholesalers and retailers across Scandinavia and Europe.

How Ebeco found Golden EDI
In 2021, Ebeco began a digital transformation journey and upgraded their ERP system to future-proof and scale their operations. Goodfellows was selected as their Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) partner to support the transition.
As a part of this transformation, Ebeco needed a scalable and cloud-based EDI solution. Based on Goodfellows’ recommendation, Golden EDI was brought in to facilitate smooth integration.

The implementation process
The EDI implementation was an important part of Ebeco's larger ERP project. Existing customers had to be connected, and this was done without any problems. The project was led by senior consultants from Golden EDI.

Another milestone in the collaboration was the Intercompany solution that was implemented a month later, optimizing purchasing and sales flows between Ebeco’s Swedish and Finnish entities. This automation of order processing resulted in reduced administrative tasks and eliminated the need for manual email exchange.
"Before, handling Intercompany orders required multiple emails and manual steps. Now, our Finnish colleagues simply place an order, and everything runs automatically. It’s a huge time-saver," says Emil.

Changes and improvements
Previously, order processing and invoicing involved a lot of manual work. With Golden EDI's solution, these processes have been automated, saving time and reducing the risk of errors.
Intercompany flows between Sweden and Finland have improved significantly, and a similar integration with Denmark has been added too.

Support and continued collaboration
Ebeco receives first-line support via Goodfellows while maintaining direct contact with Golden EDI for continuous improvements. The collaboration continues to evolve, with new initiatives such as integrating additional wholesalers.
